The short version
The ViiTing software runs entirely on your own computer. It does not send your music library, your play logs, your schedule or any other station data to us or to anyone else. The only information we hold is what you choose to send us through this website.

The software collects nothing
ViiTing is desktop software. Your music files, play logs, schedules, zone settings and licence details are stored on your own machine and stay there. We have no access to them and we do not receive copies.
If you switch on remote control, your computer opens a connection so that your own phone or tablet can reach it. That connection carries only what you need to control your station, it is protected by a password you set, and you can turn it off at any time. We do not monitor it and we do not store what passes through it.
What this website collects
When you use the contact form: we receive your name, your email address, the station or venue name if you give one, and your message. We use these only to answer you.
When you visit any page: our hosting provider records standard technical information such as the page requested, the time, your approximate location by country, your browser type and your IP address. This is ordinary web server activity and we use it to understand which pages people find useful and to keep the site working.
We do not buy personal information from anyone, and we do not sell or rent yours.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
Vercel hosts this website and handles the technical records described above.
Resend delivers messages sent through the contact form to our inbox.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of technical data needed for pages to load correctly.
How long we keep things
Messages sent through the contact form are kept in our email for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence, and are then deleted. Technical website records are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then removed automatically.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to Info@viiting.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your local law, and we will honour those.
Children
This website and the ViiTing software are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We suggest checking it occasionally.
